What to know before booking
(no surprises)
We’re cash-only
No card payments (yeah, we know – it’s a pain, and we’re working on it). Santa Cruz has one ATM, but it doesn’t always work. Best bet: stock up on cash in Panajachel before you come over.
No kitchen or outside food
We don’t offer a guest kitchen. Meals are either at the hostel or one of the few local spots nearby. Our kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and nightly three-course family dinners, always with a veggie option.
3-month booking window
We release accommodation availability three months before the date of stay — for example, February availability will open at the beginning of December. Everything we have open will be listed online. If you don’t see it, it’s likely already booked.
